Philanthropyworks is a "Community-Based Social Enterprise," designed not only to make a profit, but also to serve society's needs at the same time, such as providing jobs, providing help to the needy, providing healthcare for low income and provide access to capital and resources for entrepreneurs and small business that are considered "disadvantaged business enterprises."
We work in alliance with existing NGO and Community Service Groups who already provide intake and processing services for those in need seeking services. Our business model is based on the business paradigm of the Economy of Communion to serve the needs of those living in "Tent Cities" and shelters where residents live in hopelessness and abject poverty. http://www.focolare.org/usa/professional-life/economy-of-communion/
Our unique model is designed to address the situation of urban poverty using microfinance and micro-entrepreneurship as a mechanism to provide jobs and opportunities for men, women, and homeless vets, etc. that have little or no access to capital resources.
This enterprise will generate revenues and becomes a self-sustaining model within the framework of the currnently functioning ecosystem that has been established by various charities and county governments.
Our team is made up of the business community at large. We advocate for those who need our help. Even a little help goes a long way.
Do you want to support us by helping with our work? Then do not hesitate to contact us. A helping hand is always greatly appreciated!
The next campaign is to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked and provide shelter for the homeless! For information on how to participate, please contact us.
